Crime of the Week

If you have information on any crime or information that can lead to an arrest, you are encouraged to call (325) 235-TIPS (8477) or submit a secure tip online using this website.

Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display "caller ID" and phone lines are not recorded, thus encourages people to call with information to solve crimes already committed, crimes about to occur, or tips on the whereabouts of wanted persons. Tipsters calling Crime Stoppers are assigned a confidential code number; thereafter contact with the program is by means of the code number. Crime Stoppers callers never have to identify themselves "totally anonymous" or give evidence in court "no testimony" and are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

The type of crime solved, number of arrests, etc. will determine the amount of the reward. Rewards are not funded by tax dollars; the money for the operation of Crime Stoppers and rewards is raised from the private sector by Members of the Board of Crime Stoppers. The Board is comprised of citizens throughout the county.

All tipsters must keep in mind that you may not be the only person with information, there may be multiple tipsters so don’t sit on your information; a tipster that is quick on the uptake may beat you to your cash reward. Therefore It is very important that you submit your information to Crime Stoppers immediately; remember, a tipster that is quick on the uptake gets the cash!

Crime Stoppers wants your information, not your name!
